Very, very heavily indian accented lady called to say she was from EDF energy. Said they were having trouble getting our metre readings and want to come out to change the metre.

Have called constantly over several weeks. Say they are from our suppliers, Total Gas, and they are phoning to arrange a date to change our electricity meter. I've been onto Total Gas and there's no intention to replace our meter but I can't get the people on the other end of this phone line to accept this. Definitely a scam.

Saying we have an account with EDF, really bad accent hard to understand, wanting owners name. They have been calling for weeks now and having a manager call 07444681710 who can hardly speak english as well. Scam trying to get passwords

Has called a few times. Indian accent. When asked who was calling answered abdullah rather than the company name. Seems to be untrained and therefore possibly cold calling and/or fraud
