Rang my number and then stayed silent. I tried call them from my landline phone but just after 1 signal was a message :we are sorry your call cannot be completed this time.

I experience the same report as everyone else. Knew my name and address. Claimed they are calling from a company that help tenant in social housing with damages. Little did they know that I do not live in social housing and I did not have any damages. I have only called a council to report damages for my mother who lives elsewhere. It tells me that that call triggered these scam calls.

Knew my name and said they were calling because I had reported damage in my social housing, such as damp, mould etc, but didn't seem to know what damage I had reported.

They knew my name and claimed to be calling about damp issues. I believe this is a scam operated by people connected to BT call centre in India. I have an ongoing issue with BT and a few days ago received another call from a known 0800 BT scam number regarding outstanding bills and a relative connected to this account was actually scammed a few days ago.
