Claimed to be from EE saying there was a problem with my SIM card.
Said calling from EE and upgrading SIM from 4g to 5g. Told him I wasn’t with EE and he hung up
Claimed to be EE sending me a new SIM so I could get 5G. They were in fact trying to hack my account - they tried to reset my password which generated a 2 factor authentication text, and they told me I had to read out the code to them. Slimy nasty people.
Called me telling me they're from EE running a free netflix for 3 months promotion, told them I wasn't interested and they sent me a message from netflix with a code to "complete my netflix sign up" and told me to tell them the code so they could "remove my phone number from the promotion"
