Apparently doing a survey on behalf of Bank of Ireland on their services, I don’t know how legitimate it was, I said I didnt have time called at 5.20pm

First call was just someone laughing and lot of call centre background noise. The second call they managed to speak: BVA BDRC wanting to ask questions on how the business is doing in the current economic climate.

Claimed to be from Royal Bank of Scotland re a business account

This time claimed to be from Metro bank regarding feedback on my business account.

Market search for mortgage brokers. I also got three more phone calls from different numbers claiming to do the same. When I asked where they got my number from they answer was, from a general database. SCAM!!! Beware people

Called I answered but didn’t speak - they didn’t say anything and I could hear lots of telemarketers speaking in the background. I hung up and blocked the number. Suggest it’s marketing or a scam.

Claimed to be from Starling bank calling to do a market survey. Called Starling bank who confirmed the call was not from them

Company: BVA BDRC. Carrying out a market research survey on behalf of Barclays. Asked numerous questions about customer satisfaction with use of online, mobile, telephone & branch banking. Didn't really ask anything personal that could not have been found online except for a bracket for turnover amount to determine business size.
