Have left message several times on my answerphone asking for me to ring back. Asian voice just gave name Emily and number. I changed my answerphone recording to ask for Company name and why they were calling. Last call from this number Emily left a message saying she was from EDF. I haven't rung back as according to other comments they are from different companies. I will block number now.
Was called from 02045203017 re a community building in our village. Asked to ring 02037690455 but no idea what it was about. Reckon it's a scam.
Caller said she was calling on behalf of my energy supplier and was offering cheap energy rates for charities. £0.00 standing charge! (My energy supplier doesn't do cheap rates for charities).
I was asked to activate my Amazon Prime account to use it on a Sky q box. The link from the screen connected me to who I thought was Amazon Prime. I was asked to pay for a year upfront to access the code for activation. I paid £100 but my monthly payment hadn't been cancelled so it was a scam. Have informed Amazon Prime amd my bank.
Caller says from Amazon to update prime. But it’s a SCAM. Do not speak to them
