Supposed Amazon driver telling me he had a parcel for me but had no address. I have no outstanding Amazon orders to be delivered. Spoke to Amazon customer services on their webchat and they don't know the number. DO NOT ANSWER!!!
I have been called on my landline twice now, I think both times from this number. Both times said amazon delivery, but neither time was I expecting one. The first time he said he was outside my door. He wasn't. I have blocked this number now. Not sure I should have, but I dont give my landline number for deliveries, so think it was a scam. I live alone so not taking the chance.
Ii am a little unnerved about the nature/purpose of persistent calls. I do not know how my number was obtaimned and would like these calls to stop.
The person who called me on my MOBILE was outside with an expected delivery from Amazon. My mobile is not registered anywhere !!

Door bell rang and before I had the chance to walk from lounge to front door, which takes about 5 seconds, the driver had rung me. Not impressed.

It is Amazon. About Prime delivery that is about to reach your door. I've experienced this several times now.
automated message claiming to be HMRC relating to tax fraud; instructed to press 1 to hear details. hung up :)

We had the same AMAZON/Delivery experience as others - why do they not show 'AMAZON' on the 'phone screen? We ignore all calls like this. I'll add to my 'Contacts' under 'Amazon' so I shall know next time.
