Scam caller claiming to be from BT
Very noisy background, very strong accent. Asked to speak to the manager or owner, advised they were on breaks so unable to speak to anyone, he then insisted i can do it just fine and they will be happy;. I told him I would not do this nor give any details to set anything up. He said he was calling from BT and when I said we would call BT back he then said they are not direct from BT but BT have allowed them to use certain deals. I then told him we would contact BT anyway and then he asked why, I explained that is the way we do it as a business, and then he got very stroppy and was like why would you not set it up? It sounded almost desperate, he then asked why I keep saying no. Very pushy so Most certainly a scam so please no-one fall for this. If ever in doubt then just tell them you will contact direct from where they are claiming to be from.
Called asking to speak to the business manager. There was a lot of background noise. I asked who was calling and what it was regarding. Man said he was from BT about the phones and broadband. I informed him we already renewed the contract (which is true) - he paused and asked if we go a confirmation email. I said that a new router and everything had been installed 2 weeks ago, he paused again and I said thank you and hung up.
wanted to talk about bt. asked for him to provide the account number in which he couldnt due to gdpr. i said i wouldn't be taking this call unless he could as i believed it was a scam - he went silent so i hung up.
An indian gentlemen calle asking to speak to the manager of the business and the call is regarding BT landtline and broadband, when I asked for his name and contact details to pass onto the owner of the business, he cut off Scam call
He wanted to speak to the person who deals with our BT contract which we don't have. I asked him to email all his details and questions, which he replied was not their company policy. He was very persistent, harassing and wouldn't accept that we were not interested. I think this is a scam caller.
Wanted to discuss our BT contract which we don't have. Rude and persistant caller
Called wanted to renew a BT broadband contract. When I asked for a name and number for my manager to call back, they would not provide me with this and kept asking for a supervisor.
Very persistant, harrassing and rude regarding telephone and broad band line
Very persistent caller, telling us business BT contracted needed to be renewed but didn't have the actual name of our business. Kept calling back even after I told them not to. Blocked the number in the end. Very unpleasant.
Chap rang said he wanted to speak with the owner of this business address, asking to renew the contract with the BT business line as out line was coming to an end, of which I know isnt, hence I think a scam
person called and had no actual info of my work place, just wanted to speak to a manager/owner/someone who deals with renewals as he said ours was coming to an end, i informed him we recently just renewed to my knowledge and he said there must have been some problem because we need to renew and he can do that for us. hence why i believe it to be a scam caller.
