Claimed to be calling from EE and said that my SIM card would stop working if I didn't give my details for them to send out new SIM card, as there has been a problem with some SIM cards. I hung up on him. He tried to call back twice. I blocked the number.
Claimed to be from Vodafone saying they needed my details to send me out a new SIM card, keeping the same number, as there had been problems with older SIM cards and it would be deactivated within 24/48 hours. Started getting aggressive when I told him he was talking nonsense.
Said they were calling on behalf of sky. And wanted to discuss my bill
Called saying he was from Vodafone, advised I’m with EE and asked to remove my number and he said he couldn’t. Number blocked and reported
Reportedly from vodaphone offering to half my bill with no contract and a top of the range phone. Quoted my existing bill incorrectly. I said I would think about it and to call me back. He never did. Indian accent.
This number rang me pretending to be Booksy and asked for my email address and wanted a code that was sent to my email. Not English Indian sounding man. I asked to speak to the manager and he was also not English.nit says the number is Wakefield but it's actually calling from London
