0191 426 5432 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Problem solved. I am on TPS, which means they cannot legally call me anymore, but they did, so reported them to TPS. On the next call I informed the young lady of the report to TPS. Reply " I am sorry sir, I will make sure your number is removed from our system in the next 24hrs.

EDF lady called at lunchtime - so deliberately for a lady at home - to book an appointment to upgrade my meter. I said I'd never seen my meter as the meter reader goes to a meter cupboard through our estate office and not to our homes. She still pushed for an appointment and again I directed here to our estate office. I'm interested to see from earlier comments that it is a rampant telemarketing caller; my cold calls are so many even with TPS and Choose to Refuse that I'm now ex-directory. BT says alas they cannot block international telemarketers. What EDF does not appear to realise is the telemarketing technique is self defeating - EDF, please mark and learn, we do not like this.

Caller Daniel from EDF called today re energy providing deals.

This number has phoned me twice today, i dont know who it is abd when i try return the call it cuts off.

This number is constantly calling my house phone despite me already telling them to remove me from their directory! When you ring the number back an automated voice tells you to call 0800 480 0810 to get removed from their calling list. That number does not exists! I know the caller is EDF energy and I'm disgusted that I'm still receiving calls.

You can get your number removed from their call list by calling 0800 408 0810 and press 1 it can take up to 24 hours - Hope this helps :)

I got a call from this number today, they said they were Talktalk, told me that my internet account had been hacked and spent at least 40 mins trying to get me to do stuff on my laptop to prove it to me, including Show Me Your PC page, I'm guessing I was fooled

This is one of so many sales and scam calls which I do not answer and immediatly block. Actually, I answered on the other day which purported to be the CAB. I asked which branch and he hung up sensing that I was not suffiently vunerable for his scam. When these scammers are pccaisionally caught, the penalties are too light.

Just had a call from them and they knew my name. He asked who I am and hung up. This is really creepy and its not fair that my details are being circulated to these chancers.

hi,i have been called 4 or 5 times today and when i answered no one spoke.this is not the first time from this number and i am getting really annoyed,cant something be done legally to stop these nuisance calls

Use blocker app-android mobile-check on internet eg whocallsme..only time u know they've called ( which seems to be every day) is when u check your rejected logs. Latest annoyance is 'private number'-witheld Which cannot be blocked. Mine was asking about a minor traffic accident in past 2yrs-relying on fears of actually not remembering an event & sucking u into conversation to reveal info! I just asked in what universe did that accident happen? Knowledge is power/money, give them as little as possible.

Keeps ringing home phone and when i answer there is no one talking. Nothing. This is getting a daily thing and with a young baby they keep waking him up! Not amused!!!

BEEN GETTING ALOT OF CALL FROM THIS NUMBER LATELY

This number has been calling me evryday for a few weeksd now! I don't answer the phone. This is a disabled household and these people are harrassing me. It's very distressing!!

Repeated unanswered calls. We supposidely have TPS but still get repeated unsolicited calls

receive daily calls, up to 3 times per day off these wankers and that's after asking the brain dead slug who mithered me the first time round not to call me. Will never use edf again as long as I've a hole in my arse. jonty tweedie.

I get about 10 calls a day from this number, I've told hem multiple times to stop calling me, as soon as I do they hang up and ring back an hour later

keep phoning i know it rubbish call as got answer machine and they hang up very annoying to be called every hour

Used to get calls from them once a month now they are 2-3 times per day. I'm with EDF already but as I rent my property the landlord does not want to switch supplier, if I had a choice I'd switch immediately based purely on their nuisance calls. They just won't listen when I ask them to stop calling. I'm hoping blocking the number will help but in the meantime I'm just trying to ignore them.

This number has been calling me constantly for weeks and I never answered until today. They said they are calling on behalf of EDF and wanted to offer me a better deal. I told them that I knew they were not EDF and the caller asked what made me think that. I said there have been several complaints about this number and that if EDF needed to contact me then they would be doing so by writing. He tried to continue in his sales and I said "It is illegal for you to continue to call me and harass me so I advice that you delete this number from your system and never call again" The guy said "Thank you and goodbye Miss ****" (using my real name). Lets just see if they call agian! If they do I shall ask how they sleep at night when they are knowingly harassing people to earn a living....

it is pig ignorant and rude to continualy call someone and remain silent as well as harassment.this makes me determed to not ever change to edf energy

This number calls me all times of the day during my working hours. I have politely asked them not to call me during this time but they still continued. I have now blocked this number as its EDF and the callers do not shut up when you tell them you cant speak right now! ANNOYING NUISANCE CALLERS!

At nearly 10 o'clock on a Friday night I've just had the 5th call of the day. I've lost count of how many I've had this week. On day one I answered each time and politely told them I wasn't interested and could they please remove me from their call list. Now I've blocked the number and would never use EDF on principle!

Being called repeatedly on my mobile from this number. If it is EDF Energy then they have no reason to call me as I do not get my energy from them. I have an app on my mobile and this number is on my blocked list so only know if they have called when I look at the ap.

As a note to everybody, I worked in a call centre for a couple of weeks and the way it works is that your number is on a database, the system then automatically calls numbers and if the person doesn't pick up, it logs them as not having done so and reschedules a call for either later in the day or within the next few days. Getting called repeatedly is a real pain in the ass, sure, but the best way to make it stop is to actually answer, then politely ask them to take you off the system. Assuming it's a real person calling. You can also ask them questions to confirm that they really are EDF (or whoever else somebody may say they are), you may have confirmed things like your address, name and email, but things like previous statements and so on, only that company would know. They called asking for my husband. Asked who they were and they said EDF. We have an on-going dispute with EDF so I said no and immediately hung up.

I'm getting between 5-10 calls per day from this number, to my mobile phone. Absolutely sick to death - so have just blocked it. Figured it might be something to do with EDF, I've just switched to using them as my energy supplier. Not impressed with this tactic though. Sort it out EDF!!!

They are calling on behalf of EDF. Connected to moving utility supplies elsewhere. Ring 0800 408 0810 to get taken off their call list. They say it takes 24 hours - lets see

EDF Tele-sales block them only after getting some extra sales! BLOCK THEM!!

The caller said she was from EDF Energy & asked if I had loft & cavity wall insulation. She then went on to ask me for personal details & said I may be able to have the work done free of charge. I wasn't prepared to give any info on the phone to a stranger & I hung up. She phoned back but I had put the answer machine on. No message was left.
