Nuisance call I didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message I don’t answer calls that I don’t recognise
Claimed to be from Visa Debit - asked me to press 1 to cancel a £900 online shopping charge.
Man with Asian accent said he was from BT. Asked usual questions about problems with internet. Knew my mobile number, said he was going to send a confirmation message so told him to go away and hung up.
Claimed to be virgin media.lady had foreign accent, lots of noise in the background. Said my IP address had been compromised by foreign gangsters!! I hung up.
Bt, a number of faults on the line. Turn your computer on and I’ll get it working It’s working … no no it’s not. No it’s working … I can see it’s not, do you hear the tv in the background, yeah… well that’s working of the internet it’s working… please let me access hour computer 😆 I kept them on as long as I could … scam scam scam
Woman with asian accent called trying to scam me saying there from virgin media and my wifi was compromised. Why has virgin media not sorted this out.
The caller said he was from the National Debt Helpline and asked me if it was correct that I had debts. I asked where he got that information from and he said "from your husband". Strange, as my husband died many years ago. When I told him that he hung up. Beware of these calls, block them if possible.
ANOTHER VIRGIN MEDIA ASIAN SCAM WITH LOTS OF OTHERS IN THE BACKGROUND IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMED BEFORE , YOU WILL SURE TO BE ON ONE OF THEIR LISTS SO BEWARE.
typical press 1 scam. Automated claim from "visa" stating press 1 to stop £900 charge for online shopping imminent. I just laughed and hang up, but sadly others may not be so wary.

Said they were from Virgin media and need to access my computer. This line should be discontented by the telephone company to stop these nasty people.
