ringing from India, said they were from British gas tried to get me to agree to a verbal contract when i said i would not just kept repeating that i needed to do this as i was out of contract
claimed to be calling from Eon-next regarding renewal of contract. I challenged and requested account number related so I could verify. Caller (Abdullah) eventually passed me to supervisor (Ayad) who was unable to complete the requested verification, and transferred me to accounts department where I was spoken to by Rumi. This last individual was incredibly rude without use of strong language, but inferred that I was some form imbecile. I think I wore them down as they terminated the call after 35 minutes.
Tried to get me to do a verbal contract over the phone despite telling me it would be done via email. Hung up on me when I said I wouldn't do a verbal contract
