I had the exact same call from ‘virgin media’ offering me a discount. Again didn’t know any of my details despite being with virgin for around 12 years! I hung up!
Caller said he was from virgin media and could offer a discount. Said he would pass me through to his supervisor. I hung up as he didn’t know any of my details. He asked me I what I was paying per month I said you tell me you should have my account details he said your the the account holder you should know
Answered and then they hung up.
Heavily accented caller, lots of wind noise, then he hung up after about 15 seconds
Man with strong accent asked about my mobile sim card, he mentioned 02 and wanted to know what I was paying. Sounded like a scam so I ended the call.
When answered I got a brief ringtone as though I was the calling party. Person answered as though they had received the call - immediately hung up.
Sales call
A man calling saying he is from Curry’s Mobiles? When I asked what he is calling regarding he said it was in regard to an iPhone 13 for £40 a month with unlimited calls texts and data. I knew that this would be a scam so I said I’m not interested. He tried to ask me what phone I have currently, I just ended the call and blocked the number.
