01709 248704 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Thanks all - I had same number call me and so checked here. Now blocked.

Number came up as Rotherham town centre. Didn’t recognise and didn’t answer. Posting as appreciate everyone else doing the same as seems to be a scam.

Number came up at Rotherham Town Centre. About damage/ faults at property. Make voice but sounded automated. Scam. Definitely.

I have the same comments as above. I live in South Wales. Sounded automated and definitely a scam. Just wanted to confirm name with number I believe.

Had this number call today. I answered the phone to complete silence I almost hung up straight away but I heard a connection click so asked who it was and he said Mike, he then said the call was in regards to my housing association complaint/repairs. - I said I've reported no complaints to a housing association and need no repairs because I've never lived in an housing association house and I quickly hung up and blocked them.... The voice sounded computerised. Definitely sounds like a Phishing Scam

Scam. Someone called Mike about the problems I reported to the housing association? When I said no they immediately hung up. It took a couple of seconds for them to actually respond to me.

Called asking about house repairs, I’d reported, they hung up when I asked questions

Didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer it. I always believe that if it's genuine, they'll leave a message.

Asking about repairs or leaks in my property. Said no and caller hung up.

Called about housing repairs. I asked which house and they hung up. Seemed automated.

Had the same call today. They said it was with regards my housing complaint regards repairs. - I said I think you've the wrong number. Their voice sounded computerised in some way.

I just got this call! Definitely is a scam

Caller didn't say a word. Which leads me to believe that IF its a scammer then they're targeting certain people. For example, I am a young male and maybe they could be aware that the younger generation are less likely to own a property rather than someone who is older, who could also be more likely to be tricked into giving over details.

I got this call this afternoon. When I said "Yes, speaking", a guy asked me something about any leaks or damage reported. He immediately hung up after I said no. It's really strange, and I think it was possibly a scam.

Possiable scam, male caller. They didn't identify themselfs even when asked. They said it was to do with repairs reported. I ask who they were, they replied have you reported any leaks, damage or damp. I asked what was reported and they repeated samething. I asked if they could hear me when it was clear that they could but all they responed with was to repeat say thing. Do not give out any info. If it was your local council you can call your own council number to confirm.
