0161 884 1012 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Indian voice and rang off Reading the reports it's obviously some sort of scam with a fake Manchester number

Missed the call from them and when I called back, my phone wouldn't let me ring it and said it was linked to 'fraudulent activity'

Called from another number as well 02081449119 posing aso2 promo and discounts .

Knew all about my o2 account . I fell for it b4 I knew they had paid my bill £57 under name m.harris and ordered a iPhone 14 on my account.

Scam caller .didn't bother answering

No-one spoke initially then after a few seconds there was a click and a voice from a call centre said he was Antonio from (I didn't catch what he said) so I asked him to identify himself again. He said Antonio from O2, then he added the billing department at O2 which is odd because my contract is not with O2. I made out that the line wasn't very good & he quickly tired of me asking him to clarify or repeat what he'd said and he ended the call

SCAM!!!

This is a SCAM call centre probably based in India using a UK number to encourage engagement . The call centre agent with a heavy Indian accent claimed he was called " Mark" and asked me if I was having a good day ..THEN claimed to be from O2 and asked me if I had received a new SIM card ..I said was checking his number gave NO security info & told him to hold the line ..hw immediately ended call

Called claiming to be from "the mobile phone company" offering the latest iPhone for £5 a month.

100% a scam. No swear words for people like this. Nothing will happen to them no doubt! I’d demolish them all if I knew where they were!

called picked up... very bad line... offering something.. hungup and blocked number

I didn't answer. They haven't called again or left a VM

Bunch of nonces ringing my 11 yo daughters phone

Called saying he was from 02 and offering a 40% discount on my bill if I have a code from text message he wanted to send. Asked him what the amount of my last bill was over again and he became irate and abusive. Blocked number

Phone never rang, but received a text message to say I had a missed call from the number 0161 884 1012. Quick search brought up various mentions of it being a scam. Claiming to be from 02, EE and other mobile phone network providers and can become verbally aggressive..... I haven't actually spoken to anyone from this number but looks to be a scam so I'll block the number.
