An Indian man called my business saying he was from British Gas and that we were up for renewal but he didn’t know the name of the account holder which I imagine someone from the company should’ve known if they’re calling to let us know we have a renewal. Very obviously a scam to me I think
He said he was British Gas and to let me know our contract was up for renewal. I told him we were already with British Gas Business and did he not know that! I don't believe he was British Gas. We have been getting a of of calla from 0161 numbers and it's either about energy or the telephones and internet. Just a damned nuisance
