said they were from a company called United UK and asked did i read newspapers, was I a homeowner and finally asked my age bracket before I asked who they were and where they had my details from. Asked to have all details removed from their database and they hung up
Asked me to confirm I lived at a postcode he read out which wasn’t my postcode. Wouldn’t say who they were from. I asked to be taken off their list and he said , ‘no, you will continue to get calls from us’!
I have been receiving daily calls around the same time every week day (12noon - 3pm). Today's number is 0161 568 1337. The odd thing with all of them is that my phone does not make a sound, nor vibrates. It is defintitely switched on and all other calls are fine. Must be a scams I think.
