The number can be traced to sector 7 they are using a Voip to call from. Just your bog standard scam. Ask questions that will throw them off their script as it's fun to hear them panic

Claimed to be from EE (but same number has rung before and claimed to be from O2), assume trying to steal account details but I asked them not to ring again and hung up
Yet another scammer with a thick Indian accent. However, it doesn't matter how many times they are reported, we are powerless to stop them.
Called to offer me a scam O2 phone deal! When asked where they got my number from as I'm TPS registered they refused to answer and would not give me the name of their company to report them. Ha they hung up in the end!
Called saying he was from EE and I was up for a renewal of contract. Couldn't tell me my name - decided to just keep him on the phone for 7 minutes and tell him he was a scam. Asked if he was in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore since he wasn't in London as I knew what a London dialling code was so he must be using a VP. Told me he was then in Tokyo. I just kept wasting his time instead. Much more fun.
Said they was from virgin mobile and can give me 40% discount, I work for them and get 80% already, definite scam avoid and block number
Called me, said they were from BT and wanted me to verify my account via a pin code they had emailed. Checking with BT, it seems they were trying to hack into my BT account by asking for a password reminder, which generated the genuine PIN email form BT. If I had given them the PIN they would then have been able to change my password and access all my details on my BT account. If it were not for the poor call quality and thick foreign accent of the caller, I might have fallen for it.
scam callers
The caller says indistinguishable words and then hang up...
Missed call, checked and found this site, definitely going to block now!
Best not talking too much on the phone as they can use your voice to access and change your information using phone-based voice activated systems that many companies use
Number keep ringing me especially this one saying they are calling from virgin media which I know isn't true because they call on 03 numbers etc, they ring then offer me discounted bills etc but I always mess them around, asking lots of questions blah blah but they are persistent to say the least.
Said they were EE and could give me a discount on my phone bill if I provided information to verify my account. I didn’t say anything and they hung up
I answered and they hung up immediately
Hung up when I answered and this is not first time from this number. Will try blocking it.
