Called today about my business electricity account wanting clarification re MPAN number and setting up correct invoicing . they knew post code and Mpan details but the longer I prevaricated abut details the more it felt like a scam. eveually hung u after asking them to send questions by email
they have been ringing 3 or 4 times a day to say they needed to check MPAN and MPRN numbers - and saying they are from UK Power Network
Tried to get energy contract details from us fraudulently. Claimed that the next bill coming up had been mis invoiced and they needed information to rectify it. Got aggressive when questioned and asked to send an email. Lets all start reporting these things properly to get these people out of luck.
