01501 515284 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

I've been inundated with these types of calls recently. Especially the ones claiming to be a government scheme for debt management. I told them I wasn't in debt and didn't need their services but they were very persistent. I asked what company they were from and googled it to find out it went into liquidation 15 years ago. So I told them I knew they were scammers. The following day they called from a different number, claiming to be debt management and gave me the name of the solicitors that worked for them. I asked them to call back in an hour and phoned the solicitors they named and asked if they were working on a government debt management scheme. They said they didn't do debt management or financial services, they were not that type of solicitors. I explained that a company was claiming to be working with/for them and gave them the numbers they had called me from. When they called back I told them I'd contacted the solicitors and they were scamming bas###ds and Hung up.😡🤬😡 2 days later they tried from yet another number saying they were the real government scheme and they'd received loads of complaints about imposters posing as them..... The absolute cheek of them..... 😲😳😱😡🤬 I just told them that I knew they were all scamming bas###ds and to f##k off 🤬🤬🤬. They still continued to call but they used different numbers each time 😞. They all have the same accent, sound probably Indian, I'm not too good with accents. Now I don't bother to answer any number that I don't recognise. I just look it up afterwards and depending on what I find depends on whether I call them back or not... It's time something was done about this 😭😞 I must receive at least 2 or more of these calls a week. Companies should not be allowed to sell your details when you buy something for them and have to give your name and number . I hope this helps someone else because this so-called government scheme scam have tried debt management, heating grant, married persons tax allowance 😕 and grants for anyone who is disabled in the household. They phone me but they only appear to have my name and number. If they ask you for your address ask them to tell you what address they have or for the company name address and email. A genuine company wouldn't hesitate to give you that information. Never give them your national insurance number or Bank details especially the 3 digits on the back of your card. If it's something that requires you to give out any details always say you will call them back and check out any number you are given to call back on. If it's a mobile number don't call back. A genuine company usually has a landline number and the company name and address should come up if you Google the number. If the number they give you doesn't match the company name and address when you Google it. Inform whatever company they are pretending to be from what they are doing 😡😡😡 because after they've scammed everyone it's the poor unaware company that they have pretended to represent that will get the back lash . As I say, something desperately needs doing
