Called offering debt solutions. Said they are a government backed organisation that can write off all or some of my debts. They asked how much I owe and to who. When I said I'm just in debt for just a couple hundred pounds to my credit card, the caller rudely exclaimed "is that all!" And hung up the phone. Arrogant, rude attitude and I don't believe a government backed organisation would cold call people to write off their debt. Don't fall in, it's a trap to gather personal information about which they can then go on to use for fraudulent activities. By finding out how much debt you have they get an idea of your credit score and can vary the price at which they sell on your details to fraudsters
