Robotic caller with Brummie accent made to sound very realistic. "It's James from Relief Energy. I've got you down as the homeowner - is that correct?" He/the machine doesn't know who it was who answered the call so how can he have me down as the homeowner? Just wanted my voice to trigger the system. I gather these calls often want to hear me say "yes" and use my voice for dishonest purposes.

Relief Energy UK - offering you a free energy efficiency survey. The only way to prevent daily calls from them seems to be to play along with the automated rob until you get through to a human, and ask to be put on their 'do not contact' list.
Just called said it was John honey??? From retail energy and that he had tried to contact me over the last few days!! I don't think so. Said on his system I was the homeowner. I said don't know who are so I hung up

Energy company. First question was 'are you the homeowner?' if you answer no, they put the phone down. Think this is controlled by AI.
