I got an email from "nationwide" (except the email address was not actually nationwide) telling me that a new direct debit had been set up from my bank account and to call this number if i hadn't set it up. I stupidly called the number without searching it first, and the guy who picked up and claimed to be from the nationwide fraud team asked me for the long number on my bank card - i realised something was wrong, checked the email address on the email and obviously it's not actually nationwide. This is a scam.
