Apparently from EE, trying to get me to change services. Very inconvenient and wouldn't take no for an answer! I've been bombarded with calls in the past two days!
They say they are EE (and it looks as if they probably are EE) but sales call trying to get me to move contract - they appear to have no record of details but want credit card details NOW "because these are time limited offers". I did say "how do I know you are not a scam" and he didn't really answer. If genuine, they need better training in telling people how to check them out
Friendly for offering cheap broadband and more data but already happy with current, so nothing better just advice about landline deals.
Keeps calling every other day since 21 dec. Number comes up as (spam) am not answering to them
Bur you can't phone it back as I tried. You'd think EE would take return calls
The number spoofed, the guy is legit because I asked one person for my account 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘀 𝗵 he provided it
Said from EE wanting to give me a better deal. Asked how much I topped up and how. Said I didn't want to change and put phone down
Called me I answered said hello a couple of times didn't get a reply hung up
Been getting calls from this number seems like a scam
my number is brand new, it's not generally given out, received a missed call from 01438989232 - no voicemail Came to this site and added my comment, can't say who called but my number is brand new so no idea how they got my number.
This number has rang me three times. Today when I answered I couldn’t make out a single word being said the line was so distorted.
Friend from school has been called multiple times today. Not answered it, yet we have both contemplated texting it.
The consistently call me multiple times a day despite having been blocked. I think a few times i've called them back out of sheer boredom just to find out who they are and what, but being EE rings a bell. Anyways, they don't ever answer when I call back so I suggest you block and don't answer.
Have called 6 times in five days. No message left so obviously not important. Going off previous comments number is now blocked.
this is a real estate in agency called Peter Brandt
They say they are EE, apparently my pay as you go monthly contract is ending and they wanted my bank details to renew. Despite claiming to work for EE they seemed to have none of my actual details and just ran of whatever I told them.
Called twice saying they were EE offering a cheaper deal as I currently use pay as you go £20 per month unlimited calls text plus 500mb data which rolls over. Told them not interested as would only visit a ee shop to change as cannot confirm they are genuine. Anyone can obtain names and phone numbers from the electoral roll.
Got a call twice, said he was form EE. 24 month contract offered, he required bank details to sign up.
I got the call twice but I replied being busy ‘he said it was from EE
This caller is STEPCHANGE OIUTSOURCING who are acting on behalf of ee themselves. Their main switchboard number is: 01438 989234 Their address is: 14 Cavendish Road, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 2DY www.stepchangeoutsourcing.co.uk
its part of step change outsourcing a company ee use to contact customers about additional products. the mirror session that has been mentioned is lightico. and and details asked tend to be credit checks, upfront costs or direct debit. not always required
Been calling me twice a day lately mugs as if I'll answer
Just Mark this as EE Scam whether is is affiliated or Not - Credit Card Details over the Phone! I might look like a Muppet, but would just be so to answer anyone on a Cold-Call and give Banking Detail :)
This is an EE number as listed on their website, not spam but is sales.
Don't know what it's about but it's not a scam, the number is listed as an EE partner on the EE website.
They called saying it was EE , Asking for weird questions. They needed my bank details , definitely a scam , weird thing is that I asked for a text message and it arrived as an authentic EE message,, but it was inviting me to a mirror session… too suspicious.
Yeah, defo suspect, saying that they’re from EE, funny thing is it sounds like the same woman’s voice from EE, they’re not normally that persistent, that number’s crooked, don’t trust it
Just this minute called but I didn't answer 😕
Told me I could save £1.50 on my monthly EE phone bill WOW 😲 ALL THEY NEED IS MY BANK DETAILS 🤣🤣 W*n*ers
Said they were from EE, about some newer amazing mobile phone deal, all they needed was my credit card details and the 24 month contract would be set up immediately......
Came up as auto spam on my phone so I didn't answer it
They called me twice, a couple of days apart which I thought was a little strange - I didn’t answer either though so I’m not sure what they’re up to!

Rude
They left a voicemail and knew my name. No idea as yet who they are.
I don't not answer my phone as I have a scam alert on my mobile. I block the number, but they still manage to use...
