Henry from India. Pretending to be my phone company saying “3G network” asking if I want an upgraded phone - then asked me what phone I currently have - when I questioned him as to why they are asking that info & if they were my own provider they would already know what phone I have, they hung up
Picked up phone as waiting on a delivery, caller hung up after 10 seconds
They phoned today 9.30am and hung up as soon as I answered
Yes. More over, they use bots to silent call people to see if the number is "alive". If you pick up random calls like that, it only makes your phone number a bigger target. Just ignore the calls. If someone really needs to call you, they'll do it twice
Said they were from EE and wanted to talk about my mobile phone. When I said I wasn’t interested the hung up. I answered because it looked like a local number. Can scammers do that now?
Said was from PCWorld offering iPhone 14
Didn't recognise number so ignored call.
I answered but i didnt talk to see what happened caller hung up after seconds I have now blocked the number thankyou for the info
Indian speaker.. "Hello Im calling from EE, How are you today".... Then hangs up...?
Human caller from what sounded like an overseas call centre. I immediately hung up.
