01375 800694 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Iceni called me yesterday to say that I was entitled to a free check of my solar panels as they were under a 25 year guarantee. I called thrm back and booked a time for them to come the following day but they did not turn up. I then tried calling them a few times to find out what happrned but only got answer machine. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

had a call from this company calling about an aftercare assessment on my solar panels, a lovely gentleman come out to myself and carried out my assessment, it was hassle free to schedule my appointment and I found they are a really lovely company to deal with

The caller from Iceni explained that I was entitled to a free no obligation maintenance survey of my solar PV system, having found this site, I have cancelled their visit.

I suspect this is clever marketing to get a foot in the door to sell products. They rang to tell me that I was entitled to a free check of my solar panels through a government scheme. Having agreed an appointment which I later cancelled, I checked online with energysavingtrust and others and nowhere is it suggested that you need a check unless you have identified that the system isn't generating as much electricity as stated on the original installation certificate.
