Called claimed to be from vigin media. However number not listed on virgin media genuine call number listing.

Caller claimed to be Virgin Media asked for memorial letters then latest bill amount b4 abruptly telling me I failed security lmfao...b4 hanging up on me when I challenged them,

It is actually the virgin media outbound rUK etention team. They call to see why you have dropped a service etc and offer a better price.

Like most of the comments this caller hung up when I answered, although I believe it may have been Virgin Media as I've been having dealings with them over this past week.

Number rang me 3 times in the space of 2 days, on the third I was getting annoyed so picked it up. It was virgin media asking about the changes I'd made regarding my package. They continued to pressure me to make a snap decision and buy the faster speed package whilst I was on the phone with them, even though I told them I didn't feel comfortable and was busy. The phone call ended with a sarcastic 'bye' from the lady on the other end, how rude. I've blocked this number now. (You can't ring the number back as it is a direct line)

Like others, hung up when I answered. I’m with Virgin and about a week ago had an email confirming changes to my package, which I hadn’t made. Something fishy going on for sure
