asked to speak to specific person in the household re recent car accident (within the last two years). either the specific person asked for or anyone else in the household who may have had an accident in the last two years. Asked the name of their company - said 'Auto Assist' based in Edinburgh. Where? Declined to say. Didn't know if they were allowed. Full name of the person making the call Martin, ding know if they were allowed to give their full name. Where in Edinburgh? Couldn't say. Failure to answer my question only interested in getting data from me. What was the registration number of the car? I would have to tell them Where did he get the data that was a on his screen.He said UK IG. United Kingdom Insurance Group who hold all the data for all of the insurance companies in the UK. All of them? Yes. Politely said I did not believe he was being honest nor open. Finished the call.
