Said it was EE and I had been a loyal customer they wanted to offer a discount. I am not an EE customer, so I hung up.
Cut the call as I answered, presumed it was a scam
Hung up, but been plagued by calls claiming to be able to save money on calls, since I transferred from Virgin to O2, looks like O2 are bit rubbish on data protection
Claimed to be O2. Saying they could save me money on my monthly bill. Told them I'm on the lowest tariff already. Then I hung up. Scam for sure.
pretending to be O2 and was aggressive when challenged
Claimed to be Vodafone Marketing and wanted my name and email, which they should have if they are who they are
heard the classic pause before the call connected the sound of a busy call centre, I hung up
Didn’t answer the call. Phone rang for a couple minutes and then ended.
Said they were from Vodafone and offered me a 30% discount. Asked me how much I paid for my bill - I said you tell me. He said he was doing it for verification purposes, I said well I don't know. He said £20, £30? I said I don't know (I do, it's more than this). He then said 40% discount would be applied if I gave them my name, address and postcode! (Clearly forgot he originally said 30%!). I said surely you have those details, he said they didn't because they were from Vodafone marketing and the discount would be applied once they sent me an email with a link. Hung up at this point as I was only humouring the anyway as I knew it was a scam the moment they asked me how much my bill was when they are my provider - lol!
Thankfully I put the phone down as they asked me for my bank details. They said they are EE. They said I had an offer of only £30.00 per month. I almost fell for it until they asked me for details I know EE already hold. Be careful
Claims you have won something after several seconds of silence. Scam. Don't answer
I answered the call then they hung up. Don’t answer.
I just got a missed call from this number. No voicemail left, so...
I didn't even bother to reply since you can hear the system putting you through to an operator. 9 times out of 10 a scam.
Just declined it. Searched this number and came straight to this site.
