I dont think you understand what having your personal info being stolen actually means. This is cold calling, not theft of personal info.

Asian accent, called claiming he works for O2. Told him to stop scamming people and hung up

Strong Pakista accent , said his name was Oliver Smith ! then asked me if I liked brown men he then made disgusting noises and said he wanted to see my 'bobs and vagene' - whatever that is . Call centre in Southall .

Blocked as spam now,

Don't waste your time ringing him back pal , you might not be able to call anyway.

I love these phone calls they break up my day 30 mins of winding them up pretending I believe them etc & when I'm bored telling them they're scum & stink & need too bath. Also it keeps them from praying on our elderly or those that are not clued up.

Received a call from this number today. Was marked as potential SPAM on my mobile so I declined the call. They have used this number before. I never answer!!!

Got a call about 9:50 ish in the morning. An indian sounding lady apparently from London area, crowded background noise. Asked for me by my name, I asked who it was, said she wanted to talk to me about life insurance and I immediately hung up and shortly blocked. I rarely pick up numbers I don't recognise idk why I did this time.

The intent is for you to pass remote control of your system to their computer, from which they will access your files.

My smartphone flagged it as scam number so i didn't take the call. I've now blocked the number!

An Indian guy rang a friend of mine and ask him to turn computer on as there was something wrong with internet ( he’s no idea about these things) then the guy told him what to do on keypad after fifteen minutes the guy said everything was sorted and hung up , what my friend didn’t realise was that his bank account was hacked and they’d taken £3000 , his bank sorted things out for him in the end so never listen to these people

No I have all my personal details stolen too and they keep trying things with me citizens advice credit investigation department all that won’t leave me alone

Sadly BT wont help = THEY GET PAID FOR USEAGE of the phone system = they WELCOME scammers as does sunak ,after all sector 5 Kolkata ( scamazon ) is ONE FLOOR BELOW Mr Sunaks investment in Channel 18 news India
