Alfie from Straight line rang to speak to our director, said he spoke to him a few weeks ago and emailed him. When pushed for reason for calling and he became quite rude, told me the calls were being recorded (which I was pleased about). He told me he had questions for our director regarding new infrastructure in the area, when I asked what the questions were and if I could help he implied that I am unlikely to know the answers and put the phone down!!
Sam from straightline, asked for the Director, i said he wasnt here. Claimed to have the Directors email then i explained i receive the emails, so he said he has his person email of which there isnt one. Now blocked
Sam from Straightline, asked for the former director who had been retired 15 years... lol, then asked for another director. Presumably spam/telemarketer call
'Sam from Straightline' asking for a director, wasn't polite, wouldn't give the reason for the call, so I've blocked him. Bye!
very pushy and rude call from James Harrison, said that I had said someone was in when I hadn't, gave excuse that we can't call them back, we have had previous calls from this company and politely asked them to take our number of the call list which they have ignored
Called from Straightline. Claimed to have had a previous call with a colleague in the last few weeks and was calling back to follow up. When I pointed out the colleague in question has not been involved with the business for several years, pushed that they had defininitely spoken to them recently. Stated I would not be using their services based on this exchange.
Alfie from Straightline asking for a member of staff by name saying he was calling back to inform him about the upgrade from the local exchange. I assume a telecoms sales call.
Called and asked for a member of staff that has nothing to do with the running of the business. When asked if he could let me know what the call was regarding, he said no and hung up!
Alfie from Straight Line wanting to speak to a director. When pushed as to what it is about, was very reluctant to say. Turned out to be yet another telecoms sales call.
Really lovely guys helped me sort out the awful phone contract i was in previously. Would highly recommend
Some bloke called Alex phoned. Did not hear the name of company because he mumbled it. Said it was a follow up call, when ask what it was about, got all up tight and put the phone down. Guessing a call centre and a cold call.
