A bit weird.... My Landline number was linked to my e-mal (EE) They changed my Number witout telling me, BUT.... I can no longer get outgoing calls and I am in the process of getting advise ... BUT... Today I found this number on my caller display (and no ringing sound). SO. It looks like someone has foumd a way of making contact without a phone ring???
I've had 2 calls from this number which I've unanswered.
There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company TGL Services (UK) Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E and block all 0118 calls. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.
Do not answer. Pretend what it is not
Repeated calls untl blocked to Sidmouth number. No message apart from asking to ring customer support.
TGL sell phone numbers to spammers and they also sell lists of active numbers. You are on the list if they called you !!
