Very heavy accent, couldn’t understand the company name he was giving, asked what the company does to try and understand the caller but they hung up!
Bloke strong Indian accent calling saying I was eligible for an o2 promotional then proceeded to ask about my debit card instantly hung up
My sim is locked can I get a puk code
As with the comments from other people. Caller's accent was difficult to understand but claimed I'd been selected as part of an O2 promotion. Told her she shouldn't be calling me as I'm on "The Protection Service" which sound more official than TPS, the Telephone Preference Service! A pause, then she replied, "Oh, okay... you have a nice day". I've had far worse scam calls when they realise you're not biting.
Call from this number from a asia lady couldn't understand a word she was saying, so she repeated her self and I picked up o2 I had won 40% discount on my bill. So hard to under stand so I told her I would ring o2 directly my self. She hung up. Definitely a scam.
Probably someone trying to get my account number and sort code.
One missed call today but I have seen this number before - claiming to be from O2.
Some Indian pretending to be o2
0808 002 0202 Very heavily accented indian woman called my TPS registered mobile phone. Asked how I was, told her I was at deaths door ( I'm not! ) she grumbled and muttered something then ended call! Very poor quality line, crackling and breaking up. Seems a scam - using an 0800 type number, and 0202 loke O2 do ... very poorly executed scam. Scam spam phishing fraud theft
As above, I am on works contract with EE he claimed I am eligible for a discount on my o2 account. Told him not interested then hung up.
Caller with strong Indian accent claimed to be from O2 saying I had been selected for a discount. I had to ask several times who he was calling from as I could not understand him. My contract is controlled by my employer on a corporate contract so I hung up before the call went too far. Sounded like a scam to me
Said from 02, could barely understand her, strong asian accent. Congrats, mobile no. has been selected for a promotion, l must access a link given from my mobile to receive said promotion. Didn't write down link (pretended l did). When she'd done her full spiel of nonsense, advised not a 02 customer, it's a scam, told her to get lost!!
Very heavy Indian accent that I struggled to understand. Eventually understood claiming to be 02 & I had been selected for a discount. I've never been an 02 customer. So smelled a rat and out the phone down.
Alleged O2 operative with extremely thick Indian accent. Unsolicited call
