The lady sounded Indian, very difficult to understand and in a very noisy office. She said she was calling from Vodafone and could reduce my bill with them. I am with Talk Mobile. She offered me a free tablet or Apple watch and straight away I knew it was a scam. I do like to string them along. She kept calling me dear!! which was annoying.
It was a Indian sounding gentleman pretending to be from O2 and offering me a discount on my O2 bills. I'm not with O2 but was some time ago when there was a data leak. I have been subject to this many times, usually they are trying to get account details. I normally play with them and keep them busy but I didn't have time today so just said I was not with O2 and they just hund up. Rude!
Missed call at around 1100 - no voicemail. I believe its a scammers automated pinging to check it number is live
