0113 322 0998 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Silent call, I hung up

They literally FaceTimed me for nothing during I took up their call, I am currently searching up their address

Block them. Total spam. Don't answer. They use a block of numbers from Leeds 0113 322 0998/6/4/2

Said they were from Sky,gave me a false name so I hung up

These people are likely to be a telemarketing outfit to whom Sky provides their current and ex-customer database details. They are then able to bend the rules around how they identify themselves and Sky allow them to then attempt to resign old customers or extend current customers contracts.

Say calling from Sky wanting to give a 40% loyalty discount on my next bill. They asked what I paid on my last bill. However, we’ve only been signed with Sky for a few weeks and only had one bill so far. I’d originally signed a TV and BB package but cancelled the TV part so I’d be very surprised if they’re legitimately offering a discount already! I’ve spoken to an actual Sky tele-marketer before (calling from a number recognised as Sky when looked up) so do not believe this one to be genuinely Sky.

I suspect this is a scam. They asked about if I had any issues with sky but then wanted to know what I was paying. When I said I am not the account holder, they asked for a time to call back. I said call my husband, you should have his details and then they hung up

I picked up and didn't say anything as I didn't recognise the number. As I waited for them to speak they hung up.
