O2 said it was a helpline of theirs but charges 3.60 for the call 3.60 per minute. Got a bill £20 more than usual. Had to pay it as they wouldn't reduce it. Expensive lesson. Always call 202 which is free

Same thing happened to me today, I'm on a £16 mth plan, and got a bill for £41.55 but after 45mins on phone with them 02 says gonna amend my bill but remains to be seen!

Gets you charged on your bill and O2 say you made the call so you have to pay for it.
