0871 200 5089 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

I think this might be an outgoing call from a monitored alarm ...

I've just checked my BT bill, rarely do I check it, but listed is the number 0871 200 5089 which, according to the Bill, we've called 94 times over a 3 month period. Each call lasted 6 seconds and BT have charged 28p every time totalling £26.33 for the quarter. I've spoken to BT about blocking the number but they have told me that as we are ringing the number we cannot block it. Clearly, we are not ringing the number, so this scammer has somehow managed to devise an algorithm that connects to our phone and automatically calls 0871 200 5089, always at 3:49am, during the night, for 6 second duration. So I've now got to find a way to block this call.

I have also been billed each night at 00:06 for a six-second call to this number! I don't know what this is and also want it to stop.

I am charged by Virgin Media daily for calls received from 0871 2005089 at 06:43. I have no idea who this is and do not wish to receive them.
