They rang on a mobile number - 07749689312 - and left an automated message. The message claimed to be from TSB, identified me by my christain name and asked that i urgently call 0808 169 0956. I contacted the TSB (the actual TSB, different number) who advised they had not called me and somewhat surprisingly, weren't interested in any information i could offer regarding the attempted scam. As someone who used to investiagte these types of scam, this is not good enough. Gamma telecoms are a favorite telecoms provider for scam and nuisance callers and it's about time law enforment, regulators or the financial institutions did something to force them to identify thier customers. TSB stated they would do nothing. I'll be closing my accounts.
