Claimed to be from "The Barclays Bank"- Fraud Dept. saying they were holding a payment of £500 plus from my account as it looked suspicious. When I hesitated the caller(Irish accent) offered to transfer me to the Bank's Customer Services to reassure me. When I said I would call them myself he became quite irritated. I ended the call. Checked with my Bank and no such call from them. Attempted scam.
