This is the first time I've had a call from this number, but i"ve had quite a few similar calls on my landline from 073, 074, 078 and 079 numbers. A recorded voice says that this is a call from "the fraud prevention team" with no bank or credit card company mentioned. Apparently I have attempted to spend £561, which I haven't. The voice tells me to press 1 to approve the payment (dangerous!) or ... and then the call ends. There is no attempt to identify me, as there would be in a genuine call, or any security questions to make sure I am the right person.
