hangs up when answered but not prepared to call them back -3 times now

Added this number to the auto reject option in Android. The only notification I get is that they get logged in my phone logs. Simples.

Ever since I've gone over to EE I've had nothing but scam call they sell the numbers on..

Don't usually answer numbers I can't identify but did, and as stated by others it was about my PPI which I don't have. I am not given to bad language, but of late I tell the recording in two words to go away. I know they can't hear but it makes me feel better, and on the off chance they can hear, they know where they stand!

This number is calling every day.. I don't answer as it is an automated PPi scam call ( thanks to previous people who have posted)

Phone rang and message indicating call was from Tesco. Answered it no reply call disconnected. Why can't these f bs be stopped.

just bought a brand new phone and new sim card this number was the first incoming call within 30mins how amazing is that

Have had hundreds of calls from this and other numbers, sometimes 10 a day, I disconnect immediately but they keep coming, only an ordinary phone so cannot block these calls, time the government took action, but I won't hold my breath, they probably don't receive them

I constantly keep receiving NUISANCE calls from this number. About 6 calls recently. It either disconnects when I answer or it is a recorded message about PPI CLAIMS

I assume its an automated call , I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer my phone. checked up on here and have now blocked the number on my mobile

Latest number being used by a cold-calling company, trying to claim you have an outstanding PPI claim. Block the number and avoid!

just rung me, rang back and an automated message played telling me they had a problem removing people from their calling list and to press '9' next time they call to be removed.

We have 4 mobile phones in our household and yet these people have managed to call everyone of them!! This is a CON!! The automated service doesn.t even state the name of the company when I called back after missing their call. They shouldn,t be allowed to locate our mobile numbers let alone call us!! AVOID at ALL costs and give us our privacy back!!!!

I answered this call and then the line went dead and its not the first time but it wont be happening again. Its time the phone companies stopped giving numbers out to anyone that asks and starts researching and blocking those that are going to be a nuisance like this one.

Knew straight away from the number it was spam..from reading comments it was a good idea. Do not give out your personal details to anyone ever, no exceptions. If you get talking to someone tell them what a disgrace they are and " that you don't know who you are or what you want,but I will find you and I will kill you."

Had this number come up on many occasions and they never leave a message. Nerve wrecking when you have a loved one who is seriously ill and when your phone rings you think the worst and it is these stupid calls.

had a call from 03331552939. Automated call that said if I wanted to speak to someone about PPI to press a number, which I did. I wanted to tell them to take me off their list, but got a recorded message saying someone would call me within the next 24 hours and then the phone was cut off

Several missed calls to my private mobile, number only known to wife and daughters. (I don't answer unknown calls to this phone). Seems to be random or computer dialling......or does Vodafone sell numbers for junk calls (I wouldn't put it past them!)

Got cal from 03331552939 this morning - recorded PPI call - apparently, the've been calling me urgently!! Immediately put on to Reject Calls contact as my phone's built-in auto-reject list is already full with other waste-your-time numbers!

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then put the phone down. When you hear it, dial 1471 to see who's called, and you can call back the non-lowlife human beings that you know. When you dial 1471 on a strange number where the call tone has gone on forever, you can then note down the number and Google to see what scum has tried to get you to allow them to waste your time and stress you out to boot. I am finding that a good 95% and more calls are in this category. One day I’m going to live in a world where all such useless lowlifes are sent to a remote planet in outer space and quarantined there.

Received a call from this number today, but I don't answer it. Having read these reviews I glad I didn't!

Silent call. I have found that these messages are normally triggered by you saying 'hello' or similar when answering straight away. I'm now pausing before talking which seems to avoid the long message or human. Added to auto reject list on my mobile.
