I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the no and have been getting unsolicited calls recently. Checked here and glad I left it!

PPI call every day for the last week. Asked to cease but still continue

How on Earth do these muppets keep getting through despite blocking the number!? IIt drives me round the bend. Who regulates them? How do we stop cold callers? Even reporting them makes no difference.

Had a call from the number, did not recognise it so answered and listened, no response. It seems that the message may be voice activated. Glad I looked on internet and will not be answering any further calls from this number.

Rang me on my mobile 28/5/15 at 14.47. Not recognising the number, I opted not to answer, as is my habit when the number is not recognised (or withheld). Others' experiences listed below serve only to justify this policy. This caller is now blocked. I notice the number is given by another contributor as +4433... That, surely, is a French number!

Call received 29-05-15 on my mobile; did not pick up

Stupidly answered this number this morning. I got an automated voice saying "We have repeatedly tried to contact you regarding-", hung up and checked here. Number now blocked!

Had missed call from these twerps as well, three times this week, simples, i just don't answer if number not in my phone, if its important they will leave a message! ;o)

I let the phone ring off and then looked on here to see if there were any comments and sure enough there is. Caller is now barred, more pond life trying to scam honest hard working people out their hard earned money.

I get various calls from numbers beginning with 0333. I never answer any of them and when they ring off, I check the number on here and then block them.

I have had my new phone (&new number) 2 days - already a call from this - 03331552939 !!! I have only told friends and family ! It must be T-Mobile (EE) passing-on details of new connections... The cheeky sods. Anyhoo, like I used to - I shall simply blacklist this num'. BTW: On my previous mobile I had over 30 such numbers blocked !! Crazy that this is so bad now and will only get worse as no-one seems inclined to try and stop them. Since EE are actively helping such organisations, I'm gonna switch to an alternative provider - but expect much the same. What a pathetic, annoyance our telecoms has resulted in.

I registered this sim on saturday n got new number with it and got a missed call from this number glad i didnt answer it after reading some of the comments, how did these scammers get my new number so quick? Got a call from this number lots of times, I always ignore the call, straight after I get a missed call alert from 01269 849 064 which after looking this number up is connected with ppi scams as well as indian sounding gentlemen claiming to be from Microsoft and wishing to gain access to your pc to fix a non existent problem. These people will upload spyware on to your pc so they can access your personal information and use it too obtain goods, services and money using your identity and or financial information stored on your pc. Under no circumstances will Microsoft contact you via telephone or email asking for personal information, never ever give out personal information to anyone via email or phone unless you have initiated the contact yourself. This scam has been around a long time and has been well documented in many media formats, however these rats still manage to con innocent people out of their money on a daily basis, be safe and alert others to these despicable pond life!

Put a new sim in a spare phone 2 days ago - first call in or out is this! not even bought credit for the sim yet!
