0333 155 2939 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Scam call, automated voice saying I had a PPI refund to claim (I don't) and asking to press '5' to continue

Had a call during my lunch hour from this number (0333 155 2939). Glad I checked up on the number. Will not be responding and will be blocking the number too.

Had a call from this number this morning (26 may 2015). Didn't answer. No message left.

I registered this sim on saturday n got new number with it and got a missed call from this number glad i didnt answer it after reading some of the comments, how did these scammers get my new number so quick? I have a voicemail from them but dnt know how to remove it without opening it. Number was 0333 155 2939

Got a call from this number lots of times, I always ignore the call, straight after I get a missed call alert from 01269 849 064 which after looking this number up is connected with ppi scams as well as indian sounding gentlemen claiming to be from Microsoft and wishing to gain access to your pc to fix a non existent problem. These people will upload spyware on to your pc so they can access your personal information and use it too obtain goods, services and money using your identity and or financial information stored on your pc. Under no circumstances will Microsoft contact you via telephone or email asking for personal information, never ever give out personal information to anyone via email or phone unless you have initiated the contact yourself. This scam has been around a long time and has been well documented in many media formats, however these rats still manage to con innocent people out of their money on a daily basis, be safe and alert others to these despicable pond life!

Put a new sim in a spare phone 2 days ago - first call in or out is this! not even bought credit for the sim yet!

Looks like I'm not the only one to get this nuisance call this week. Glad I didn't answer based on other responses.
