This is the first time I have been phoned by an AI bot. It was quite intelligent and hell bent on selling protection against rising energy costs. In true sales pitch fashion it had been taught to ignore totally negative responses, perhaps with a “some people think that BUT ….” response. With an income already from PV and a life expectancy of less than 7 years, I am not an ideal customer. What is more I resent being telephoned on my cell phone by an organisation that ignores the useless telephone preference service.
