Fraudulent transaction on my credit card immediately followed by a call from this number claiming to be my bank to deal with the transaction.
DAMGER! Super scam, sounded very genuine. private number initially and called twice in succession. He said announced as from the BC fraud dept and Flagged a suspicious transaction which they said they declined and were sending a text message to confirm it was me and asked for the code....the text message they sent was the one with code to confirm the transaction. Dangerous and sophisticated - beware always hangup and call Barclaycard yourself if unsure.
