Said they were responding to the housing issues I had filed. I haven't so I hung up.

Scam using randomly selected numbers and saying they were replying to my report of housing issues such as cracks mould and damp. They didn’t know my name. I hadn’t reported anything so hung up. Very poor English with a foreign accent.

caller name was ben. he said that he was calling from the "housing repair team". i asked him which company he was calling from but he wouldn't give one. he was asking me if there were any issues with my home. any damp/mold etc.

They look like scammers. Because: 1). they didn’t say the name, 2). they didn’t say the name of the company, 3). where did they get the phone number and 4). why are they calling! 5). And so they called my mother, and she is already old and has no experience in identifying a scammer and how to deal with them. They began to ask her for various information about our house and As well as her personal information. 6). They said that they had received a complaint that we had some problems in the house, but they did not say who the complaint came from (for example, neighbors, passers-by, an agency, etc.). All their phrases were very vague without any specifics.

Asking personal questions about housing situations but refusing to identify themselves
