A man called pretending to me three mobile saying that my card will be deleted as a lot if customers complained about the bad reception snd they will swap with a 5g card
claimed to be 3 network, said my sim card was going to be cancelled.
claimed to be EE - asked for my email address as they needed to confirm my identity - when I asked them what the numbers at the end of my email address were, they refused to give them to me for me to identify that this was not a spam call. Told them I was going to end the call and said that I didn't believe they were EE - they hung up. Relatively convincing - talking about a 5G booster sim. Assumption would be that they would send me a 'verification link' to click on, I log in thinking it's a real EE login pathway, they then take the details I used to log in and gain access to my account.
