Fake Lloyds Bank message trying to scam bank details from you
I have just rung Foxhall and they are aware that their name is being used in a scam email and they have contacted the bank to let them know.
I have received the exact same email purporting to be from LLOYDS BANK saying they had set up a new payment arrangement from Foxhall dental practice, of £429-60 . It looks realistic, but I don’t bank with them. Foxhall Dental Practice appears to be a real dentist in Ipswich (nowhere near me) so I may ring them to let them know what's happened. I'm glad I checked on here, and thank you to the other commenters who have put my mind at rest.
Also received an email from Lloyds Bank about a new payment arrangement from Foxhall dental practice. Immediately messaged Lloyds, as I bank with them and was told it was not a genuine email but to keep monitoring my account for any suspicious activity
I received am email from LLOYDS BANK saying they had set up a new payment arrangement from foxhall dental practice for me @ £429-60 . I don’t bank with them and never have. It looks very real, so don’t be fooled into ringing the phone number on it. SCAM SCAM .
Received an email claiming to be from Lloyd's bank confirming that a direct debit was set up on behalf of Foxhill Dental Practice due to collect in couple of days. I live in London and haven't used a dentist for over 2 years and do not bank with Lloyd's so this is obviously a scam This Dental Practice is based on the Midlands . The number 020 8073 2370 claiming to be Lloyd's is a scam
Claimed to be Lloyds Bank stating a new direct debit had set up on my account for over £400! I don't even bank with them! Be wary folks because it looks legitimate!
