Said they were from BT Business, "line is going to be cut off", blah blah blah. But the first record of this number on the internet is on this site from yesterday saying it's legit (hmmm?) and another today saying the same thing as me, that it seems dodgy. They basically bad-mouthed the local BT Business providers saying they are rubbish, but surely if you're from BT you wouldn't be saying this. Chap got quite angry when I started to push back and suggest that this may not be legit. Couldn't send me an email to confirm actually from BT.

The number does not belong to BT. It is Gamma Telecoms in London. Wanted to send an engineer to check my line as it is 'old' and needs replacing apparently. When I checked with my phone provider they checked and there is nothing wrong with our line.
