Scam/Fraud

Claimed to be from social housing and said they were calling about repairs or damages I had reported, which confused me as I dont live in social/council housing. I suspected it was a scam call because they didn’t even mention the name of a borough/local council and once I said I think they have the wrong number he hung up.
