Received the call but when I picked up the receiver they rang off
Phoned at 7.03am. Did not get to the phone in time. Phoned again at 7.10am when answered they said they were a recorded text message and to press 1. We hung up.
Robo call as previously identified by former reporters. Hit th ebig rad button on my call blockers
One call, Sunday morning at 08:20. Gobbledygook message purporting to be from someone I last spoke to a couple of weeks ago. From investigation, I understand that calls are linked to BT accounts that have some form of call minding service. I have blocked the number but I won’t mention it to the lady concerned as she’s in her 80s and will only worry.
Called 3 times between 9:15 & 9:30pm did not answer call, no message left, once answer phone kicked in call disconnected.
Called at 07:00 when I was hardly awake. Female voice with urgent tone giving 'security number' and other instructions which I did not take in, except that there was a message for me if I responded in 5 minutes. Since nobody has need to message me in this way I assumed it would be a scam attempt and ignored it.
I use a BT blocker on my phone and it doesn't ring unless the caller identifies himself. This number showed on my missed calls and was therefore an unidentified call.
Rang me at 1 min past 7 in the morning automated, put straight down scam no one rings that time in the morning unless its an emergency
Left a message saying 'somebody' had died - pretty low for a nuisance call. Never heard of the person anyway
In my case, it was legit! It was the pharmacy saying my prescription was ready, via a text service. Sounds garbled as it’s such a robotic voice, and they read out the sender’s number, first.
This number was already stored in my phone from them previously ringing me, they've rang me today around 4 times since this morning, if I don't recognise a number I Google it, if it's a scam I'm confused why number hasn't been shut down, either way if it's anyone important they know my email and my new job only has my mobile number anyway
Asked to press 1 to listen to a text message ignore and don't press any numbers definitely a scam DO NOT press any numbers on your phone just hang up.
same as a lot of others automated message asking me to press 1 if i want to listen to message (which i did) but message was weird so hung up.
Phoned this morning sms message asking to phone back have ignored it as will be charged to call them back.
Call not put through by my call blocking phone. Call now deleted and number blocked.
Looks everything like a scam. Message asks you to press 1 to listen to a message . Guessing when my bill appears its charged me ?
When called there is a recorded message stating that call was rom A2L SMS text service. Offers various options. Scam or fraudulent.
I was suspicious because of the repetitive nature of the numbers so I did not answer the call.
Automated message saying there was a message to pick up by pressing a key. Multiple calls in same day. Ignored and reported it here.
I answered the phone to this number and it asked if I wanted to listen to the message. I was suspicious because none of my family or friends would have done that. I put the phone down before the call went any further.
Bewildering call to say the least ... just ignore. it that's the best way ...
Very persistent and calls early morning and late evening... Real pain in the butt. 😞😞
8/11/21 @ 07.01 - woke me up. Caller ID showed no message left. Currently getting other spam/fraud calls unrecognised.
This number has called twice in five minutes, garbled message on answer phone asking you to press a variety of numbers, needless to say I did not press any of them, turned answer phone off then back on and cleared messages..
Automated call said it was an SMS message gave me number no it was from but was so quick could not understand only it was a mobile. Usual press 1 for message did not try .
I Never answer numbers that look weird...but so fed up with these time wasters. Telephone Preference Service is a complete waste of time as they need an address to proceed apparently. Can't something be done about these scammers?
Called my landline, leaving a recorded message about sms text messages, offering various options. 1471 gives the number 0333 3440000, which refers to website ... a2l ... . This is a French company based in Toulouse. Definitely seems to be something to be skeptical of. Pressing options suggested in recorded message not advised.
Just had call. Never answered as didn't know or like look of tel no. Left half ansafone message quoting 7 &9 ????. I obviously didn't ring back... Pity they've nothing better to do.
Told by auto message my broadband provider had been trying to contact me and I will be cut off in 24 hours, Click link!!!!
Claimed I had a text message and had to press button to receive message.
Press 1 to reveal message, of supposed text message of see you in 15 minutes. Will be reported to Information Commissioner, clearly a SCAM call. Hope they will FINE them. Will check bill to ensure not charged for pressing 1.
Called 4 times per day - over the last 6 days. Absolute nuisance. I do not answer it.
This number has called me 7 times in last 3 days early morning it rings for ages later on rings twice then rings off.
Left their number on my answer phone never answered it.
Scam. At first I thought that it was a Fife number but it wasn't. This was my first experience of a Roboscam. I'm now worried about it because I listened to it.
Received a robocall re a text message and I have to press 1. Beware. Total scam.
